downloaded the theme for my new animals and pet related blog …
in the readme file … u have mentioned to activate the plugins … but there are no plugins available with the theme ….
does it mean we have to upload the plugins of our choice or any specific plugins for the theme support ?

thanks for downloading the theme. you have to move the plugin folder (included on the zip file) to wp-content/plugins directory. this theme needs the excerpt reload plugin and content gallery plugin

This is a beautiful template! Thank you for making it available. I’m trying to switch over to it, but have a few problems.
1. When I put in my categories to populate the index page in the placeholders, the sidebar and footer disappear completely.
2. I can only get one category to display. Even though the names are correct for the other categories, they will not show on the index page. Each category name will display as long as it’s the only one trying to populate the index page.
3. When it does display, only the title of the post appears with no content below.
What am I doing wrong? Can you help please?

I got this handled. It was a very simple fix. There’s a plugin that needs to be in the WordPress plugin folder and it wasn’t included in my original download. It’s the “the_excerpt-reloaded” plugin and is available on the net as a free download. Just Google it – it’s out there.

are you referring to the header? without the “PET MAGAZINE” text? if so, please have a look at the images file of the theme – there’s a file called “Copy of header” it’s the blank version of the header.
